About Us
Udaan Foundation is a non-profit organization (NGO), which was founded in May 2016. The NGO provides educational opportunities for children and economic opportunities for women in impoverished localities in Jaipur.
We believe that all children should have access to the enormous opportunities that education provides in order to escape the poverty cycle and open their minds to limitless possibilities. In addition, we stand strong in the belief that women and disabled people should have equal opportunities in society; and should be treated with dignity and respect.
What We Do
Udaan Foundation is a non-profit organization (NGO), which was founded in May 2016. The NGO strives to educate underprivileged children and provide equal opportunities for women in impoverished villages located in Jaipur.
Why We Do It
We believe that underprivileged children should have access to the enormous opportunities that education provides in order to escape the poverty cycle and open their minds to limitless possibilities. In addition, we stand strong in the belief that women and the mentally challenged should have equal opportunities in society; and should be viewed with a nondiscriminatory perspective.
Shalini was raised in India, but spent a majority of her time living in South East Asia. She completed her Honors in Public Administration and worked for the gem and jewelry industry. However, she always did something extra in addition to her career in order to educate underprivileged children. Now, she spends her time dedicated to making Udaan Foundation what it is. In addition to her strong passion for serving society; she also loves traveling and understanding different cultures.
Zaheer was raised in Nepal, but spent a majority of his time living in South East Asia. He has been a significant entrepreneur in the gem and jewelry industry over the past thirty years. He has always had a passion for serving society, and took up every opportunity he could to benefit the greater good. Him and his wife, Shalini, have opened up the Udaan Foundation together in hopes of benefitting underprivileged societies. In addition to Zaheer’s strong desire to help underprivileged individuals; he also loves participating in sports and watching a diverse range of films.

Savita Was Raised In Alwar And Moved To Jaipur. She Has Done Master Of Education From Jaipur. She Has 22 Years Experience In Teaching. Her Favourite Subject Is Hindi Lierature. In Her Spare Time She Likes To Reading Books And Also Likes To Write Stories And Poetry.
Naziya Was Born In Jaipur. She Has Done Bachelor Of Education. She Has 20 Years Experience In Teaching. She Likes To Do Travelling And Reading Books.
Seema Was Born In Jaipur. She Has Done Bachelor Of Education From Up. She Has 15 Years Experience In Teaching. She Likes To Do Reading Books, Teaching And Poetry.
Arshi Was Born In Jaipur. She Has Done D.El.Ed From N.I.O.S. She Has 15 Years Experience In Teaching. She Likes To Do Listining Music And Teaching.
Tabassum Lives In A Small Village Located Outside Jaipur City. She Has Done Bachelor Of Education And Has Approximately 9 Years Of Experience Working With Ngos. Along With Her Passion For Social Work, She Loves Dancing To Bollywood Tunes And Reading Novels Related To Sociology.

Our Interns
Lubnah has spent a majority of her time living in South East Asia. Before heading off to university, she has chosen to dedicate her time in Udaan Foundation. She assists the foundation through teaching and by doing administration work. Her favorite subject is visual arts. Lubnah also has a strong passion for traveling and reading.
